A fellow local blogger & also a Fort Wayne Police Department detective catches thief via YouTube!

Detective Everett White (http://everett-white.com) was surfing YouTube, off duty & at home, when he came across one called "Burglars Caught in Fort Wayne". Where Everett saw two men enter in a house and steal some wire, then two police officers enter after the suspects left the house.

Everett showed the video to his coworkers the next day, where one of his coworkers recognized one of the suspects.

Because of this, yesterday a man, Richard Klaff, 36, was charged with felony burglary, theft and misdemeanor invasion of privacy!

Keep up the great work Everett!

Read more here. A quick search of YouTube did not turn up the video. My guess is Everett and his fellow detectives had the video removed for legal reasons.
